Everything you need to know before you book

What's included in the workshop?

Everything you need: premium ceremonial-grade matcha to whisk and sip, a hand-thrown ceramic piece to paint, all paints and brushes, and a warm host to guide you. You leave with your finished ceramic — yours to keep.

Do I need any prior experience?

None at all. Most guests have never whisked matcha or painted ceramics before. The pace is slow, the instructions are simple, and the vibe is "no pressure, no perfection."

How long is the workshop and what's the format?

About 2 hours. We start with a brief intro to matcha, then move into whisking, sipping, and painting. Small groups (typically 8–16 guests) so everyone gets attention.

Where exactly is it held? Will I get the address?

Each workshop is hosted at a curated venue in your chosen city — usually a calm studio, café, or boutique space. Once you book, you'll receive a confirmation email with the exact address, parking notes, and what to bring.

Is matcha caffeinated? Can I do this in the evening?

Yes, matcha contains caffeine — but it's paired with L-theanine for a calm, focused energy (very different from coffee jitters). Evening workshops are fine for most; if you're sensitive, opt for a daytime session.
